iStockTwo men have been charged in connection with the death of a man discovered on a Perthshire road on Friday.
Emergency services were called to the Dunning to Kinross road at around 7am after a 29-year-old man was found dead.
Initially, officers arrested a 40-year-old woman and two men, aged 36 and 42, in connection with the incident.
The men have since been charged and are due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Monday. The woman was released pending further enquiries.
An investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7am on Friday, June 13, 2025, we were called to the death of a 29-year-old man on the Dunning to Kinross road in Perth.
“Two men, aged 36 and 42, were arrested and charged in connection with the death. They are due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Monday, June 16.
“A 40-year-old woman was also arrested and has been released pending further investigation.
“Enquiries remain ongoing.”
