Two people have been charged after a man was taken to hospital following a disturbance in Fife.
Emergency services were called to the Church Street area of Glenrothes at around 8pm on Tuesday following reports of an incident.
A 39-year-old man was transported to hospital for treatment.
Officers have arrested and charged a 33-year-old man and 32-year-old man in connection with the incident.
The pair are due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Wednesday. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, we were called to a report of a disturbance in the Church Street area of Glenrothes.
“Emergency services attended and a 39-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
“Two men, aged 33 and 32, were arrested and charged in connection with the incident and are expected to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
