Two men, both 22, were arrested following a search of a property in which the drugs and a four-figure sum of money were seized.

Two men have been arrested after £16,000 worth of drugs were recovered from an address in Aberdeen.

Police carried out a search warrant at a property where drugs, believed to be cocaine, diamorphine and cannabis, with an estimated street value of £16,000 were recovered along with a four figure sum of money.

The raid was carried out on Wednesday at property on Marischal Court.

Two 22-year-old men have been arrested and charged in connection with the recovery. They are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Thursday, February 23.

Detective Sergeant Chris Wilson said: “We remain committed to disrupting county lines activity and we will use all resources at our disposal and take any action necessary to rid our communities of drugs and reduce the harm they cause.

“We acknowledge the misery drug misuse can cause in the communities and rely on support and information from the public to help combat this. Anyone with information regarding drugs in their community or county lines activity should contact us through 101.
