Two suspects have been arrested following the unexplained death of a man at a property in Aberdeen.
Emergency services were called to a flat on Marquis Road following reports that a 44-year-old man had died.
His family has been made aware and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
Officers have arrested a 32-year-old man in connection with assault and a man, aged 27, in connection with the death.
The pair have been released pending further investigation. Officers are still in the area where the incident occurred.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.25pm on Saturday, November 22, 2025, we were called to a report of the death of a 44-year-old man at a property on Marquis Road, Aberdeen.
“His family is aware.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
“A 32-year-old man was arrested in connection with assault and a 27-year-old man was arrested in connection with the death.
“They have both been released pending further investigation.
“Officers remain in the area carrying out enquiries and anyone with any information or concerns can approach them.”
