Two men have been arrested for attempted murder after a man was seriously injured in Angus.
Emergency services were called to a disturbance in the Glenmoy Terrace area of Forfar at around 5.50pm on Wednesday.
A 35-year-old man was taken to Ninewells Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.
Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident. Enquiries remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.50pm on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, police received a report of a disturbance and the attempted murder of a 35-year-old man in the Glenmoy Terrace area of Forfar.
“The man was taken to Ninewells Hospital, where his injuries are described as serious, but not life threatening.
“Two men, aged 20 and 24, have been arrested in connection with the incident and further enquiries remain ongoing.”
