A hotel near Aberdeen Airport is to go under the hammer with a guide price of £1.6 million later this month.

The site, on Burnside Drive in Dyce, is let to Travelodge until 2030, with a tenant option to extend for another 25 years.

It is home to a separate restaurant, ancillary accommodation and car parking for around 100 vehicles.

Auction house Acuitus said the property produces an annual rental income of £224,204.

It is due to feature in a livestreamed auction on October 29, with bidding available online, by telephone and by proxy.

Alexander Auterac, associate director at Acuitus Auctions, said: “This opportunity combines the attraction of strong rental income from a nationally recognised hotel chain with the benefit of a strategic location close to Aberdeen Airport, one of the key transport hubs serving the North Sea energy sector.”

The auction will also feature New Telecom House in Aberdeen city centre, which is being offered with a guide price of £250,000.
