Three boys have been reported in connection with a serious assault on a schoolboy in Dundee.
Officers were called to Dundee’s Lothian Crescent area at around 6.45pm on Monday, October 3 following reports of a “serious assault” on a teenager.
A 13-year-old sustained “serious injuries” and was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.
Police confirmed on Tuesday that three 12-year-old boys had been reported to the Scottish Children’s Reporter and procurator fiscal in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Three boys, aged 12, have been reported to the Scottish Children’s Reporter and procurator fiscal in connection with the incident.”
