A third teenager has been charged after a 12-year-old boy was attacked in a Dundee alleyway.
The schoolboy was taken to hospital following the incident near the city’s High Street on March 20.
A 14-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl were also assaulted in the incident.
Two boys, aged 15 and 13, were previously arrested and charged in connection with the incident. They are due to appear in court at a later date.
On Friday, a 16-year-old boy was also arrested and charged in connection with the alleged attack.
A report will be submitted to the relevant authority.
Local area commander chief inspector Colin Echevarria said: “Dundee continues to take a zero-tolerance approach to youth violence, with officers from the City Centre Community Policing Team carrying out high-visibility patrols and targeted prevention activity.
“We are working closely with partners and engaging with young people to intervene early, while continuing to take appropriate action to address offending behaviour and reduce harm in our communities.”
