Teenager charged with murder after man found seriously injured at flat

A teenager has been charged with murder after a man died at a flat in Dundee.

Emergency services were called to reports of an injured man at a property on Balunie Terrace around 5.30pm on Friday.

The 36-year-old man was taken to Ninewells Hospital, where he died a short time later.

A 17-year-old male appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday, charged with murder.

He made no plea and was committed for further examination.

The 17-year-old was remanded in custody and is due to appear in court again within the next eight days.
