A teenage girl is in hospital after being struck down by a car during rush hour traffic in Aberdeen.
Officers were called to reports of a crash involving a pedestrian and a car on East North Street at around 8.35am on Wednesday.
The pedestrian, a 15-year-old girl, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and her condition is currently unknown.
The road was closed for around an hour, and reopened at around 9.30am.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.35am on Wednesday, February 22, we were made aware of a crash involving a pedestrian and a car on East North Street, Aberdeen.
“The pedestrian, a 15-year-old girl, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
“The road was closed and reopened around 9.30am.”
