A teenager has been arrested and charged following a spate of thefts, fraud and deliberate fire-raising in the Dundee and Fife areas.

Police said the incidents happened between Wednesday, January 15, and Sunday, January 26, 2025.

They included the theft of cars, car keys and bank cards in the Dykes of Gray and Broughty Ferry areas of Dundee as well as wilful fire-raising on Aboyne Avenue.

The theft of two cars, car keys and various items of property also occurred on Crawford Avenue, Gauldry and Sandyhill in Tayport.

Police Scotland confirmed a 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incidents.

The man is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday, February 3, 2025.
