A teenager has been charged following reports of a person attempting to enter multiple homes in Aberdeen.

A person trying door handles was reported in the early hours on Sunday on Brooke Drive, Denview Way and Fairley Road in the Kingswells area.

A 16-year-old boy has been charged in connection.

A report is due to be submitted to the Youth Justice Management Unit.

Detective Constable Andrew Yule said: “We’d like to thank the public for their assistance with our enquiries.”
