A suspect has been charged following the death of a man in Perth.
Emergency services were called to a property in Scott Street at around 8.50pm on Monday following a report of concern for a person.
The body of Ian Menzies, 55, was found within and detectives launched a murder investigation.
An arrest was made in London on Thursday in connection with the incident.
On Saturday, the force confirmed that a 36-year-old man had been arrested and charged in connection with Mr Menzies’ death.
A police spokesperson added: “The man is expected to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Monday, June 14.”
