A spooky piece of sand art has appeared on a beach in Aberdeen.
The Halloween-themed circular piece features a ghostly face carved into a tree next to an equally eerie pumpkin.
Artist Dougie Bogie created the sand art along the shore of Aberdeen beach in a bid to get locals into the Halloween spirit.
“I will try to do a few more before Halloween, I was just trying it out to see what it looks like in a circle,” he said.
A picture emerged of the artwork on social media with a stunning sunset backdrop, leading to numerous impressed compliments.
“A lot of people commented on it saying they liked it and it brightened up their day,” Dougie added.
