Several sheep have died after a van carrying livestock crashed in Moray.

Police say the A920 Boghead to Moray road is closed after a one-vehicle collision involving an animal transporter around 9.15am on Thursday.

The male driver was uninjured but a number of sheep died in the collision.

Road users are being advised to avoid the area.

A Police Scotland statement read: “The A920 Boghead to Moray road is closed after a one vehicle collision.

“The crash was reported around 9.15am on Thursday, May 22, 2025 and involved an animal transporter.

“The male driver was uninjured but a number of sheep died in the collision. Road users should avoid the area.”
