Several roads in Aberdeen have been closed after a crash.

A large emergency service presence was called to Victoria Road in Torry shortly after 10am.

The Scottish Ambulance Service said a special operations response team, a paramedic response unit and an ambulance remain at the scene.

Police Scotland has closed several roads in the area, including the Wellington Road roundabout, Victoria Bridge, and South Esplanade East.

Traffic entering the city is being diverted onto Grampian Road, and drivers have been asked to avoid the area.

An SAS spokesperson said: “We received a call at 10.08am to attend a road traffic collision on Victoria Road, Aberdeen. We dispatched an ambulance, a paramedic response unit (PRU), and a special operations response team (SORT) to the scene.”
