Police are searching for a driver who caused “substantial” damage to a vehicle on the A93 in Aberdeenshire.

A Volvo vehicle was stationary at temporary traffic lights near Auchallater Bridge in Braemar, around 3.15pm on March 21, when it was struck by a passing vehicle towing a trailer with an insecure load.

The vehicle failed to stop and travelled in the direction of Glenshee.

Prior to the collision, the offending vehicle had travelled through Aboyne on A93 towards Braemar.
