Two 14-year-old boys have been charged in connection with a fire at a former bingo hall in Angus.
Emergency services were alerted to the blaze at the old Pavilion building in Forfar’s Queen Street on Sunday, November 29.
The road was closed and a number of neighbouring properties had to be evacuated while fire crews tackled the flames.
On Thursday, police confirmed two teenagers had been charged over the incident.
A force spokesperson said: “Police Scotland can confirm that two 14-year-old boys have been charged in connection with a fire at a building in Queen Street, Forfar, on Sunday, November 29.
“A report will be sent to the youth justice assessor.”
