Multiple roads have been reopened after a lorry spilt hazardous material near a Dundee industrial estate, injuring three people.
Emergency services were called to Dunsinane Industrial Estate after reports of a toxic substance leaking from a lorry at around 12.41pm on Tuesday.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service dispatched three appliances and specialist resources to the area.
Three people were handed over to medical crews for treatment.
Two were discharged at the scene and another was taken to Ninewells Hospital.
Police closed a number of roads including Kings Cross at Dunsinane Avenue, Kilspindle Road south of Dunsinane Avenue, Dunsinane Avenue west of junction with Kilspindle Road and Kinnoull Road at Craigowl Street.
On Wednesday morning, officers confirmed the roads had reopened at around 8am..
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “All roads have now reopened at Dunsinane Industrial Estate in Dundee following an earlier incident.
“Members of the public are thanked for their patience.”
A spokesperson for Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 12.56pm on May 13, to attend an incident at Dunsinane Industrial Estate.
“We dispatched our special operations team and three ambulances to the scene.
“We transported one patient to Ninewells while a further two patients were treated and discharged at the scene.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 12.41pm on Tuesday, May 13, to reports of hazardous materials affecting a lorry at Dunsinane Industrial Estate in Dundee.
“Operations Control mobilised three fire appliances and specialist resources to the scene.
“Three casualties were taken into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.”
