An infestation of rats shut down a kitchen in a high school in Angus sparking the council to conduct a deep clean.
A pest control issue was identified at Webster’s High School in Kirriemuir with meals having to be provided from elsewhere this week.
A deep clean of the food preparation area was completed and measures put in place for pupils at the school.
Angus Council confirmed the issue was resolved on Tuesday with full school meal services set to resume on Wednesday.
Environmental health and pest control officers were called to investigate and continue to monitor the situation, the council said.
