Police have found a 36-year-old man who went missing from an open jail near Dundee.

Officers had been looking for James Fitzpatrick after he failed to return to HMP Castle Huntly from an approved visit.

They had also advised people not to approach him.

The force said on Friday that Fitzpatrick had been traced and thanked members of the public.
