A beach in Moray has been taped off after a suspected explosive was discovered on Friday.
Emergency services were called to East Beach in the Seatown area of Lossiemouth at around 1.20pm after an unexploded ordnance device was reportedly found.
Officers remain at the scene and a bomb disposal team has been made aware. The area remains cordoned off and members of the public have been urged to avoid the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.20pm on Friday, November 7, 2025, we were called to a report of a suspected unexploded ordnance in the East Beach, Seatown area of Lossiemouth.
“Officers are at the scene and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal team have been made aware.
“A small cordon is in place and the public is advised to avoid the area.”
