Police name man who died in industrial estate 'incident'

A man who died in an incident at an industrial estate in Angus has been named by police.

Liam James Gallon, 32, suffered injuries at a premises on East Mill Road, Brechin, at around 3pm on Monday afternoon.

Emergency services were called and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are continuing enquiries into the incident.

A police spokesperson said: “Police today have confirmed the name of the 32-year-old man who died following an incident at an industrial premises on East Mill Road, Brechin, on Monday, March 14, 2022, as Liam James Gallon, from Montrose. 

“His family is aware.  

“Enquiries are ongoing in to the circumstances surrounding the incident and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal. 

“The Health and Safety Executive has been informed.

“Mr Gallon’s family has asked that their privacy be respected at this very difficult time.”
