British Transport Police officers removed a “disruptive passenger” from a train in Aberdeenshire.

Officers were called to Stonehaven railway station around midday on Monday to reports of a disruptive passenger on board a train.

They removed the man from the service after attending the scene.

A BTP statement read: “Officers were called to Stonehaven railway station at around 12pm today following reports of a disruptive passenger on board a train.

“Officers attended and a man was removed from the service.”
