Police are hunting for a man who allegedly acted in a threatening manner towards a schoolboy in Dundee.

The incident occurred at a bus stop on Whitehall Street around 6.50am on Friday morning.

The man is described as being in his late 40s to early 50s, with shaved grey hair and stubble. He was wearing denim jeans and a dark blue rain jacket.

Officers are also keen to trace the boy to ensure he is safe and well.

The child, thought to be around 12 years old, is described as having shoulder length brown hair and was wearing a dark navy hoodie, dark jogging bottoms and khaki trainers.

A police spokesperson said: “Anyone with information or who recognises the description of the man or child is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference 0541 of Friday, June 14, 2024.”
