Man dies suddenly near roundabout as police probe 'unexplained' death

Officers said the man's death is being treated as 'unexplained'.

A man has died suddenly near a roundabout in Fife with police treating the death as “unexplained”.

Officers were made aware of the sudden death of a 38-year-old man at around 11.55am on Thursday, March 28 near to the Halbeath roundabout in Dunfermline.

The force said the man’s death is being treated as “unexplained”.

There are said to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the 38-year-old’s death.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.55am on Thursday, March 28 police were made aware of the sudden death of a 38-year-old man near to the Halbeath roundabout area of Dunfermline.

“The death is currently being treated as unexplained, however, there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.

“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
