Police are investigating a report of a rape in Aberdeenshire.
The incident occurred near to the River Don and St James’s Place in Inverurie.
Emergency services were called around 6.30pm on Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a serious sexual assault near to the River Don and St James’s Place, Inverurie, around 6.30pm on Monday, September 4, 2023.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
