Police investigating after young girl approached by man on street 

Police are investigating reports of a man approaching a young girl on a street in Dundee.

Emergency services were called to Commercial Road at around 1.40pm on Saturday following reports of the incident.

Officers said enquiries are at a “very early” stage.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.40pm on Saturday, August 24, 2024, we were called to a report of a man approaching a young girl in Commercial Road, Dundee.

“Enquiries are at a very early stage to establish the full circumstances.”
