Police ‘increasingly concerned’ for man with distinctive bike who went missing between Dundee and Perth Police Scotland

Police say they are “increasingly concerned” for a missing man who has a distinctive tricycle motorbike.

Brian Sharp, 59, was reported missing from Perth on Monday, August 1.

He was last seen at around 8.30am in the Abernyte Road area in the village of Abernyte between Dundee and Perth.

Mr Sharp set out towards Perth on a silver Honda Goldwing, with a registration number of SF57PYG.

It is believed that he may then have travelled towards Inverness.

He is described as being around 5ft 10in, of heavy build and may have been wearing motorcycling leathers.

Sergeant Peter Duncan said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Brian’s welfare and I would ask anyone who has seen him or his distinctive vehicle to get in touch. 

“I would also appeal directly to Brian that if he sees this appeal to get in touch so we know you are safe and well. 

“Anyone who has seen Brian or knows where he is should call us on 101, quoting reference 0834 of Monday, August 1, 2022.”
