Men and woman 'with English accents' sought after teenager attacked

Detectives are seeking two men and a woman ‘with English accents’ after a teenager was assaulted in Blairgowrie.

The 19-year-old was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee with a serious arm injury following a disturbance on Reform Street around 1am on Saturday October 22.

A 21-year-old woman was also taken to the same hospital and released following treatment.

Police have now issued an appeal as they look to speak with two men and a woman who are described as having English accents.

Detective constable Ruth Mein, of Perth CID, said: “It’s vital we trace the person or people responsible for this attack which left two people needing hospital treatment.

“I would urge anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened to get in contact with us. Likewise, anyone who may have relevant dash cam or private CCTV around Reform Street from the early hours of 22 October, please come forward.

“Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference 0239 of Saturday, October 22, 2022. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
