SuppliedPolice were called to a beach in Aberdeen on Friday following reports of unexploded ordnance.
Officers were called to a report of suspected ordnance on Aberdeen Beach Esplanade and erected a cordon in the area at around 8.15am.
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) were sent to the scene and it was confirmed there was no ordnance.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.15am on Friday, August 28, 2026, we were called to a report of suspected unexploded ordnance on Aberdeen Beach at Esplanade..
“Officers attended and EOD were contacted. It has been confirmed this is not ordnance.”
