A woman has been in hospital after being hit by a car on a street in Aberdeen.

At around 10.10am on Monday, April 10, a grey Ford Focus and the 54-year-old pedestrian were involved in a collision on Rousay Drive at the junction with Rousay Terrace.

Emergency services attended the crash and the woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment. No one else was injured as a result of the crash.

Police are now appealing for information and appealing to anyone with information to get in contact.

Road policing constable Cara Wicks said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances relating to this crash and we are appealing to anyone who can assist to get in touch.

“If you have dash-cam footage or anything else that could help with our investigation please call us on 101, quoting incident number 0885 of Monday, 10 April, 2023.”
