Police are appealing for information after a woman lost a tooth following an assault in Dundee.

Officers say a woman was approached by another woman outside Ladbrokes and Greggs in the city’s High Street around 6.50pm on Thursday, February 27, 2025.

She was punched her twice to the face, resulting in the loss of a tooth.

Police say a group of youths were nearby and asked the victim if she needed help.

Officers are urging them or anyone else who witnessed the incident to come forward.

A Police Scotland statement read: “Police are appealing for witnesses in relation to a serious assault which took place outside Ladbrokes and Greggs, High Street, Dundee about 6.50pm on February 27, 2025 where a female was approached by another female who then punched her twice to the face, resulting in the loss of a tooth.

“A group of youths were nearby and asked the victim if she needed help.
