Police are appealing for witnesses after two men made off from a theft carrying golf clubs and pushing a trolley in Moray.

Officers said around 12.45am on Tuesday, two men broke into a container within Mosstodloch Industrial Estate and stole around £1,200 of sporting equipment.

They made off towards Garmouth Road in Mosstodloch, carrying golf clubs and pushing a golf trolley.

The men are described as white, with one wearing a grey hoodie, black trousers and white trainers.

The other was wearing a dark coloured hooded sweatshirt.

Constable Christopher MacKinnon said: “We are appealing to anyone that saw people acting suspiciously in the area at the time.

“They left carrying golf equipment, which would have been an unusual sight at that time in the morning.

“If you saw anything that could help our enquiries, or captured anything on private CCTV or dash-cam footage, please get in touch.”
