A primary school in Aberdeenshire has been closed due to a fire overnight.
Dales Park school on Berryden Road in Peterhead confirmed it would be closed to all pupils and staff on Friday due to the blaze.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service crews were called to the scene around 3.00am.
Four fire engines were dispatched to the scene, and firefighters extinguished the blaze, leaving around five hours later.
There were no reported casualties, but the incident remains open for reinspection, crews said.
Dales Park said on Facebook: “There has been a fire at the school. We will not be open today.
“We will be in touch with further updates as soon as we know more.”
