Google MapsA Scottish man has been detained in Croatia after being stopped by authorities while on holiday.
STV News understands Aiden Campbell from Peterhead arrived at Split airport for a holiday before being picked up by Croatian police officers.
The UK Foreign Office confirmed that it was assisting the 22-year-old’s family.
An FCDO Spokesperson said: “We are supporting the family of a British national who has been detained in Croatia and are in contact with the local authorities”
Croatian police have been contacted for further comment.
