One person has been taken to hospital after three people were rescued from a river in Aberdeen.
Emergency services were called to reports of three people having gone into the water near Donmouth Road around 1.15pm on Wednesday.
HM Coastguard sent Aberdeen and Cruden Bay Coastguard Rescue Teams as well as the RNLI’s inshore and all-weather lifeboats from Aberdeen.
The coastguard confirmed all three people were returned to land safe and well.
The Scottish Ambulance Service dispatched one ambulance, two special operations response teams, and a trauma team to the scene.
One of the people involved in the incident was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for further treatment.
A spokesperson for the Coastguard said: “Three people reported to have gone into the water at Donmouth, Aberdeen, at about 1.15pm on February 5, were confirmed to have returned to land safe and well.
“HM Coastguard sent Aberdeen and Cruden Bay Coastguard Rescue Teams as well as the RNLI’s inshore and all-weather lifeboats from Aberdeen.
“One of the three people was passed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.”
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 1.05pm to attend an incident near Donmouth Road, Aberdeen.
“We dispatched one ambulance, two special operations response teams (SORT), and one trauma team to the scene.
“One patient was transported to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.”
