There have been no traces or sightings of a young girl in Dundee after a welfare concern was raised by a member of the public.
Police appealed for information after a member of the public raised concerns about a girl who was around six or seven years old who had last been seen in the Fairmuir Park area at around 7.20pm on Sunday, October 9.
Despite carrying out “extensive enquiries”, no trace or any other sightings have been reported.
Officers carried out “extensive searches” of the area, which included specialist officers, whilst also conducting targeted door-to-door enquiries
There have also been no reports of missing children in Dundee matching the description of the girl in question.
Chief inspector Ross Fitzgerald said: “Understandably this has been a concerning situation, however a robust investigation was carried out and there have been no further reports received in relation to this child.
“Enquiries have now concluded and we’d like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter. Anyone with further information or concerns can call 101, quoting incident 3009 of October 9.”
