Police have said there are “no suspicious circumstances” after the body of a woman was found on a beach in Aberdeen.
Emergency services confirmed the body was discovered around 6.40am on Saturday, October 19 on the beach in the Donmouth Road area of the city.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained but further enquiries are pending.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.40am on Saturday 19 October, 2024, officers were made aware that the body of a woman was found on the beach in the Donmouth Road area of Aberdeen.
“The death is being treated as unexplained, however there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
