Police say enquiries are ongoing after a motorcyclist died in a single-vehicle crash when his bike collided into a wall in Perthshire.

Officers say the collision took place on the A827 six miles east of Killin, near Lawers around 4.25pm on Friday, April 11 and involved a black Ducati M1200 motorcycle.

The rider of the motorcycle has been named as 67-year-old Colin Campbell from Newton Broxburn.

His family have asked for their privacy to be respected.

Police previously said the Ducati bike left the road and collided with a wall.

Officers said their investigation into the full circumstances of the incident remain ongoing.

Sergeant Brian McEwen, of the Tayside Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts remain with Colin’s family and friends at this time.

“Our investigation into the full circumstances of the incident remain ongoing and I’d like to thank the public for their assistance to date, including two other motorcyclists who stopped at the scene and have since spoken with officers.

“Anyone with information who has yet to speak with police can call 101, quoting reference 2633 of April 11, 2025.”
