JasperImageA motorcyclist is in a serious condition in hospital following a collision involving a van in Moray.
Emergency services were called to the A941 south of its junction with the B9135 between Lossiemouth and Elgin around 10pm on Tuesday evening.
The collision involved a grey Renault Trafic van and a black Keeway Superlight 125 motorcycle.
The 20-year-old motorcyclist was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment to serious injuries.
The road was closed for around 12 hours and has since reopened.
Sergeant Lesley Morrison said: “Our enquiries into the crash are ongoing. I would ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who may have dash-cam footage, to contact us as soon as possible.
”Anyone with information is asked to contact 101, quoting reference 3830 of October 1, 2024.
