A motorcyclist is in hospital after a crash involving a car on A920 in Aberdeenshire.
At around 3.55pm on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, emergency services were called to a collision between a red Honda CRF 1100 motorcycle and a red Skoda Roomster on the Oldmeldrum to Ellon Road, near Mains of Esslemont.
The 43-year-old rider was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment to what are described as serious injuries.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the crash.
Sergeant Chris Bain, from the North East Road Policing Unit, said: “I would like to thank those members of the public who stopped to assist.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or the vehicles prior, and who hasn’t already spoken to officers to get in touch.
“Additionally, I would appeal to anyone who was driving in the area and who may have dash cam footage which could assist to contact us.”
