Two men have been seriously injured after a crash involving a motorbike and a car in Angus.
The collision between the Suzuki GSX 750 and the Vauxhall Mokka happened on the B9128 Carnoustie to Forfar road around 6.10pm on Thursday.
Emergency services attended, and the biker and passenger, both 20 years old, were taken to Ninewells Hospital. The male driver in the Mokka was not hurt.
The road was closed for several hours while investigation work was carried out and reopened around 12.30am on Friday.
Sergeant David Farr said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the crash, and I’m appealing to the public for help.
“Were you in the area at the time and saw what happened? Did you see either vehicle prior to the crash? Do you have dash-cam footage which has captured anything of significance? If you have any information, please get in touch.
“I’m particularly keen to speak to members of the public who stopped to assist before emergency services arrived. I’d urge you to come forward, as you may have vital information.”
