A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital following a crash in Perthshire on Sunday.

Emergency services were called to the A85 following reports of a collision involving a grey Ford Focus car and a white Triumph motorcycle at around 11.25am near West Lodge Estate.

The 42-year-old male motorbike rider was taken to Ninewells Hospital by air ambulance where he is described as being in a serious but stable condition. 

The occupants of the Ford Focus were uninjured.    

Constable Joel Wildman, of Perth Road Policing Unit, said: “We are keen to hear from any road users that may have witnessed the crash or saw the vehicles involved prior to the collision.

“Anyone with information or dash-cam footage should contact 101, quoting reference 1308 of May 11, 2025.”
