Officers have recovered a quantity of cocaine and cannabis worth more than £100,000 after a vehicle was stopped in Aberdeen and a home was raided on Friday.
Police intercepted the vehicle in the Summerfield Terrace area of the city at around 1pm and a quantity of cocaine was discovered.
A warrant was then executed at an address on Eigie Walk in Balmedie, where a further quantity of cocaine and cannabis was recovered.
The haul is estimated to be worth around £109,000.
Officers charged two 30-year-old men in connection with the drug recovery, and they were due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.
Detective Constable Nick Bowyer said: “These recoveries highlight our commitment to tackling dangerous and illegal drugs in our local communities. They also underline our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
“We are determined to protect the public from this harmful criminality by disrupting the drugs trade and preventing their manufacture and distribution.
“Information from the public is crucial. We will continue to act on information we receive and ask anyone with information or concerns to call us on 101 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
