A man has been taken to hospital following a collision between a car and a mobility scooter on Sunday.

Emergency services were called to Elgin Road in Lossiemouth at around 11.55am on November 24 following reports of a crash.

A male mobility scooter driver was taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital for treatment. His condition is currently unknown.

The road was closed for around three hours to allow for investigations before reopening around 1.45pm.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.55am on Sunday, November 24, 2024, we received a report of a crash involving a car and a mobility scooter.

“The driver of the mobility scooter was taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital for treatment. The road re-opened around 1.45pm.”
