Police are treating the death of a man in Aberdeen as “unexplained” after he was found seriously injured in the street.

Emergency services were called to Rosemount Place around 2.40pm on Wednesday afternoon following reports of an injured man.

The man was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers are treating the death as unexplained and said Wallfield Crescent has been closed off while enquiries are carried out.

A police spokesperson said: “Around 2.40pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, we received a report of a man found seriously injured in Rosemount Place, Aberdeen.

“Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

“The death is being treated as unexplained and Wallfield Crescent is currently closed while enquiries are carried out.”
