A man who died in a crash involving an allegedly stolen car in Dundee has been named.
Emergency services were called to Forthill Road around 1pm on Monday following a collision involving a red Maserati Quattroporte.
The 74-year-old pedestrian, John Bell, known by loved ones as Jack, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, a 55-year-old man named Fraser Garden, was taken to hospital for treatment and released.
He has since appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court, charged with causing death by dangerous driving and attempting to pervert the course of justice. He is also accused of stealing the car prior to the collision.
Garden made no plea and was remanded in custody.
