A man is to appear in court after vehicles were allegedly deliberately set on fire in Dundee.

Police said a 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with five incidents of wilful fire-raising to vehicles in the area.

The incidents took place between Wednesday, September 18 and Saturday, October 26, 2024 in Strathmartine Road, Charleston Drive and Prieston Road.

He is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday, October 28.

Officers said a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
