Man rushed to hospital following ‘serious’ crash in Dundee as police launch appeal Google Maps

An appeal has been launched after a pedestrian was rushed to hospital following a “serious” crash on Friday afternoon in Dundee.

At around 5pm on March 29, emergency services were called to Balgowan Avenue near to Haldane Avenue following the collision.

A 52-year-old man was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.

Police are now urging anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward.

Police Sergeant David Farr, of the Road Policing Unit said: “I would ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who may have dash-cam footage, and has not yet spoken to or provided this information to officers, to contact us as soon as possible.

“The road reopened at around 7pm. I want to thank members of the public for their patience while we investigated this serious collision.”

“Anyone with information should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2753 of March 29, 2024.”
